Do you know about Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)?The disease will cause a blurring and darkening of central vision. It effect to older adults that loss of the vision in their macula because the weakness of their retina. Major people that get this disease is 50 years old and they will have problem to read or recognize faces.
AMD will effect on the macula, that allows us to see fine details.
There are some research at University of California (UCLA) get some result that smoking is second major factor risk for AMD after age factor. From their study shows that the smokers get 11 % risk to get AMD than the non smoker. The theory shows that smoking reduce levels of antioxidants in the blood, changing the blood flow to the eyes and reducing the amount of pigmentation in the retina.
It conclude that by stopping the bad habit will decreased the risk to get AMD.Let’s stop smoking now before it’s too late.

    Didn’t knew about this. We have been hearing about Smokers chances for Cancer and other disease but this is also horrible. The second example pic can open their eyes and quit smoking for sure
