Heart Attacks can trigger post traumatic stress

Most of us know about heart attack but not all of us know about post traumatic stress (including me..). So, let’s we know about the disease before read the topic.
What is post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) ?
PSTD is a mental health condition that’s triggered by a terrifying event. The symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety. Many PTSD people have difficulty adjusting and coping for a while but can handle it time by time. But some of them get worse and need to get help.
The news research found that experience heart attack could trigger Post-Traumatic Stress Disease. From the study, 1 in 8 people who survive a heart attack will go on to develop symptoms of PTSD. It could make worse to increase the risk of having a second heart attack or dying prematurely.
The previous research has found that heart attack can contribute a depression and a number of small studies have suggested a similar link to PTSD. The findings are important for doctors and cardiologists to look for signs of anxiety in heart patients.The studies also looked at the relationship between post-traumatic stress and subsequent hospitalizations in the years following a heart attack.
The studies also suggest that heart attack survivirs with PTSD symptoms are twice likely as those without them to die or experience any other heart related complication within three years.
