Fish oil does not decrease heart risk

We always read that fish oil could cut heart risk but there’s a study that the fish oil supplements don’t reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes. The news said that scientist has make studies from almost 70,000 patient and they can’t related taking omega 3 fatty acids from fish oil had effect on rates of strokes, heart attacks and heart related deaths.

Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (Pufas) known to fight inflammation that contribute to narrowing of the arteries. The result published in the Journal of the American Medical Association and showed no evidence of risk reduction associated with omega-3. The finding from University Hospotal of Ioannina, Greece show that the omega-3 do not justify as structured intervention in everyday clinical practice.

This new maybe will effect Omega 3 fatty acids supplement. I can’t give comment but maybe there’s any explanation from omega-3 supplement supplier.
