There are news that vitamin E pills can treating liver disease.The vitamin supplement help major treatment caused by a nutrient deficiency. Doctors warned this is still in research and no guarantee that it can treat liver disease but the progress is good.The research studied at St. Louis University tested on nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.In their research it show the improvement for patients who took the drug but it not effect on all patient. diabetic patients were not included.
The Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) a chronic liver disease patient improved after 96 weeks of treatment using Vitamin E. .There are 3 treatments involve , using Vitamin E, pioglitazone or a placebo capsule. The volunteer have liver biopsy from begin and end of the researcher. The result revealed that 43 % using Vitamin E improve their healthy based on liver tissue characteristics while 34% pioglitazone and 19% placebo user showed substantial improvement. Vitamin E is an antioxidants that prevent unstable molecule on damaging cell. However this is still in research, hope it will success and help to treat many liver disease patient.
