Overcome Health Problems that arises due to Excess Fat?

All of us know that too much of anything is too bad. Most of the people including many experts believe that eating much fat is not good for anybody’s health. There are certain fats that are good for health and some which are absolutely not. People should take care of which type of fat they take in.

Fat sources are innumerable ranging from fats dairy foods to meat, fish, vegetables, eggs and nuts. In order to overcome health problems arising due to intake of fat anybody should know what he/she is eating and must make healthy food choices. Eating too little fat is as dangerous as having too much of it. A person needs to draw the line as to what his body requires.

Taking in more amount of bad fat means inviting a number of bad conditions and diseases like obesity, diabetes, overweight, heart diseases like high blood pressure, it can also shorten life span and the list goes on.

Excessive consumption of saturated fats results not only in weight gain but also has adverse effects on the arteries which boosts bad cholesterol which results in plaque’s build up in the arteries. This can lead to grave heart diseases like blocked valves which do require a bypass surgery and blood clotting in the thinner arteries which leads to stroke as well. Excess intake of trans fat may lead to high risk of cancer especially which are quite complicated to treat like breast cancer. Excess consumption of Trans fats may also lead to hypertension which is also known as high blood pressure. All these fall under the category of cardiovascular heart diseases.

This absolutely doesn’t mean that people should not have fat content foods at all. It means watch what you eat. Foods which are fat soluble i.e. foods containing vitamin A, D, K and E can be taken as they contain monosaturated and polysaturated fats which are good for health. It is good to consult a doctor or nutritionist about your diet.

Here are some foods which will reduce the fat content in your body. Intake of calcium helps you control your hunger. The more you have it, the better for you. Dairy products are an excellent source of calcium which work effectively in accelerating the process of fat loss better than the other sources. Coconut oil helps in decreasing the waist circumference and helps in increasing high density lipoprotein (HDL Cholesterol). Foods rich in protein content reduce hunger and leads to more satisfaction when compared to carbohydrate food intake and burn fat. Vitamin C sure doe8s works wonders as they contain less fraction of fat. Quinoa is an ancient grain is a powerhouse which contains amino acids, phytosterols and Vitamin E which leads to less body fat, lower body weight and decreased appetite. This grain is versatile as it can be used in hot cereals, side-dishes etc.
