What is Gut Bacteria? Most of us don’t really know (including me). Gut bacteria line our intestines and help digest food. During digestion, they make vitamins that are vital for life, send signals to the immune system and make small molecules that help our brain work.
They are a critical part of us and essential to our health. A new collaboration between MIT and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki , lead to new forms of treatment and for preventive care, ensuring individuals have healthy balance of gut bacteria help protect them from cancer from a young age.
