What Is Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Have your doctor ask you to do MRI when you get bone problem? Do you know what really is MRI? MRI is stand for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Maybe some of you confuse about X-Ray and MRI. MRI is diagnostic procedure that uses a radio waves and powerful magnet to produce detailed images of the body structures and organs. It is not use X-ray and no radiation involved in the device. MRI always use for a back pain or sprained ankle.
MRI use radio waves that are 10,000-30,000 times stronger than the magnetic field of the earth. The scanner will pick up the signals and a computer will send it into a picture. The pictures will based on the strenght and location of the incoming signals.

Look. Isn’t it cool. Most of the MRI machine look like this.. Like a capsule tube..
MRI ain’t hurt but you will experienced tapping noise in the tube. The MRI test will last about 30-45 minutes depend on the number of body parts that being examined by expertise.
