Truth Behind Bottled Water

Maybe we have been told that we need to drink at least eight large glasses a day and one way to achieve it by drinking a bottled water alternatives. David Katz from Yale University’s School of Medicine said that there’s no evidence of benefit from any version of ‘enhanced water’. Drinking bottle also include the plastic. Plastic made with BPA that could increased risk of heart disease and obesity. It means the water also include with the chemical. There’s also issue of water sources. Many company claim they get from natural source such as mountain water but mostly of them are faked.

There’s also product that have vitamins on it but water that include with vitamins and minerals may suppress your immune system. According to Ara Dermarderosian, PhD at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia said that the beverages could effect health if your body already have enough mineral and vitamins.
There’s a product claim of electolyte water could enhanced with potassium,magnesium and calcium. They claim the water could make your body faster hydration. It is no real evidence related about electrolytes to a hydration.
Another water product claim they could increase sleep. It means the product good for those having sleep problem. It is really work? Maybe it can work but it is not a water but more using herbal supplement. So it has effect.
Coconut water is a good choice after a light workout but not for intense workout because it doesn’t contain enough sodium. This finding from study presented from American Chemical Society.
Nowaday, we’ve introduced the artificially sweetened water. It sound great but it is not reall true. While the beverages don’t have calories, it will increase intake in other foods.
